Please do follow our aftercare instructions to enhance the life of your furniture!
Each of our goods is custom handcrafted from solid wood.
Because wood is a living material, it is critical to take proper care of it.
Avoid putting your furnishings near radiators or in direct sunlight. Polish non-painted furniture parts using bees wax on a regular basis to keep the gloss and extend the life of the piece.
Avoid setting your furniture near a radiator or in bright sunlight to avoid movement in the wood and the degradation of your furniture. Natural wood is not water- or heat-resistant, and it does not like chemicals. We strongly advise you to use a coaster to protect your furniture. If a spill occurs, clean it up right away using a lint-free cloth.
Clean by gently vacuuming cloth with an upholstery brush to remove ordinary household dust and debris. To maintain attractiveness and minimise premature wear and fading, the complete product must be cleaned on a regular basis.
Do not rub the stain, soak the garment, or let it dry. Neither proprietary cleaners nor any other household cleaners should be used. Make an appointment with a professional upholstery cleaner. Remember to give your cushions a good shake once a week or so to retain their form. To avoid colour fading, keep all upholstered pieces away of direct sunlight.
A suction type vacuum cleaner is recommended for routine cleaning. The majority of light stains can be removed with a moist cloth. Do not machine wash or dry clean your rug, and immediately clean any accidents. Place the rug on a level surface and blot any liquids with a white paper towel or a dry absorbent cloth. If a stain persists, seek professional cleaning assistance and avoid harsh chemicals, which may harm the rug. Your rug should not be washed or dried in a machine.
Some rugs are also prone to sprouting or pilling, as the rug industry refers to it. This is where some of the pile’s strands/threads will appear to be longer than the rest. All you have to do now is use a pair of sharp scissors to clip any longer strands. It is critical that you do not attempt to rip these large threads out of the rug, since this will cause harm.
Due to the way rugs are packaged and preserved, you may notice lines or crease marks going across the breadth of your rug when you unroll it. These creases and lines are not permanent and will dissolve over time with normal use and vacuuming.
The carpets are wrapped around a cardboard tube in terms of packaging to ensure that they are maintained clean. A cover is placed on both ends of the tube to protect the material’s edges, and a plastic coating is placed on top of the material to protect it. To avoid damaging the rugs, two cardboard pieces are placed beneath the string. After that, the rugs are placed in a drawstring bag to keep them safe (this bag is reusable)
During the first several weeks after unrolling the rugs, they will not lay totally flat. This is not a flaw with the rug; it is just temporary till the rug adjusts to its new shape. The rug should flatten down gradually until it is completely flat.
